AN APPLICATION OF SOFT COMPUTING TECHNIQUES TO PREDICT DYNAMIC BEHAVIOUR OF MOORING SYSTEMS

چکیده

A spread mooring system (SMS) allows a ship or floating platform to moor the seafloor using multiple lines at restricted region with fixed heading in harsh weather. These systems can be used for operations of ships different tonnage sea depths. The optimal design these is challenging engineering problem because effects many parameters and changing environmental conditions. Modern soft computing techniques allow difficult problems solved easily precisely are becoming more popular. In this paper, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) as computation have been chosen estimate hawser tensions displacements system. attained results show both give consistent indicators modelling dynamic systems. Although performed very well, ANFIS model relatively superior ANN technique, considering accuracy terms relative errors coefficient correlation obtained ANFIS.
